The Still Spirits Batch 89 Reserve Gold Rum Flavouring Kit lets you create 3.5 L of richly flavoured gold rum-style spirit from neutral spirit or vodka.

Part of the exclusive 2026 Batch 89 collection, Reserve Gold Rum combines a specially crafted rum flavouring blend with American and French oak chips. In addition, glycerine adds body and smoothness to the finished spirit. The kit also includes mixing and ageing instructions to guide you through the process.

Still Spirits has created this release as a single production run. Therefore, Reserve Gold Rum is available only while stocks last.

Rich Gold Rum Character

Reserve Gold Rum delivers inviting notes of sticky brown sugar, soft honey and toasted oak. Together, these flavours create a rich and rounded rum-style profile inspired by the warmth and character of Caribbean gold rum.

The kit also includes both American and French oak chips. As the spirit ages, the oak helps develop extra character and complexity.

Each kit contains:

• Rum flavouring blend – 3 × 50 mL
• American Oak Chips – 70 g
• French Oak Chips – 70 g
• Glycerine – 50 mL
• Mixing and ageing instructions
• 5 customer bottle labels

Net contents: 200 mL of flavouring and glycerine components, plus 140 g of oak chips.

Allergens: Contains gluten (barley), milk and celery.

Still Spirits makes the flavourings in New Zealand using local and imported ingredients. In addition, they pack the oak chips locally from local components.

Still Spirits has supplied products for home spirit makers since 1989. Now, Batch 89 celebrates that heritage with a collection of special limited edition releases for 2026.

Most importantly, Still Spirits has limited Reserve Gold Rum to a single production run. Once available stock sells out, this limited edition release may no longer be available.
