Description
Vintner’s Harvest Citric Acid 100g is a useful addition to the home winemaker’s cleaning and preparation supplies. It is used as a final rinse after cleaning and sterilising winemaking equipment to help adjust the pH of the rinse water.
The convenient 100g pack is suitable for home wine and mead making where only small quantities are required at a time.
Using Citric Acid as a Final Rinse
Clean and sterilise your winemaking equipment first using your normal cleaning and sanitising process. Afterwards, prepare the citric acid rinse and use it as the final rinse for the equipment.
Citric acid lowers the pH of the rinse water. Therefore, it provides a simple way to acidify the final rinse before the equipment returns to use.
Always follow the directions on the product packaging when preparing and using the solution.
