Description
The 100cm Silicone Dip Tube Kit with Weighted Filter & Float provides a floating liquid pickup for compatible pressure vessels and suitably modified ball lock kegs.
Instead of drawing liquid from the bottom, the floating pickup follows the liquid level and draws from near the surface. As a result, it can help reduce the amount of settled sediment entering the liquid line.
Floating Liquid Pickup
The stainless steel ball float keeps the end of the silicone dip tube near the surface as the liquid level changes.
Therefore, the pickup moves down with the liquid rather than remaining fixed at the bottom of the vessel.
This design is particularly useful where yeast, hops or other sediment may settle below the clearer liquid.
Weighted Filter
A weighted stainless steel filter sits at the liquid pickup point.
The weight helps keep the pickup correctly positioned beneath the surface. Meanwhile, the filter helps prevent larger particles from entering the dip tube.
100cm Silicone Dip Tube
The kit includes a 100cm silicone dip tube, providing plenty of length for use with a range of compatible pressure vessels.
The flexible silicone tube works with the floating pickup, allowing it to follow the liquid level during dispensing or transfer.
Modified Ball Lock Keg Compatibility
The floating dip tube kit can also be used with suitably modified ball lock kegs, providing a floating liquid pickup instead of relying on the standard fixed liquid dip tube.
This can help reduce the amount of settled sediment drawn into the liquid line during dispensing or transfer.

Ideal for Clearer Liquid Pickup
Because the pickup follows the surface, it can draw liquid from above material that has settled at the bottom of the vessel.
This makes the kit useful for beer and other suitable beverages where yeast, hop matter or sediment may collect during fermentation, conditioning or storage.
However, the filter is designed to help stop larger particles from entering the dip tube. Good cleaning and maintenance are still important for reliable operation.
