Duotight 8mm One Way Check Valve – Gas

Description

The Duotight 8mm One Way Check Valve helps protect your regulator and other gas equipment from liquid backflow. It is also a useful addition when building or upgrading a kegging system.

When fitted to the gas line, the valve allows gas to travel towards the keg while helping stop liquid from flowing back towards the regulator. In addition, its low opening pressure of approximately 1 psi allows gas to flow with minimal restriction.

You can also use the valve with clean liquids where you need one-way flow. Furthermore, stainless steel internalcomponents, including the spring, provide excellent durability and corrosion resistance.

Duotight Generation 2

Duotight Generation 2 fittings use two O-rings made from different materials. First, the EPDM O-ring provides excellent chemical and gas resistance. Meanwhile, the silicone O-ring stays flexible at low temperatures.

Generation 2 fittings use Polyketone (POK) instead of standard acetal. As a result, POK provides excellent chemical resistance, UV resistance and durability for brewing and beverage dispensing systems.

For the best seal, first cut the tubing cleanly and square. Then push the tubing firmly into the fitting until it reaches the correct depth. To remove the tubing, press the collet in while pulling the line out.
