Description
The Stainless Steel Keg Dip Tube – Long/Liquid is a replacement liquid-out dip tube for compatible 19L Cornelius-style ball lock kegs.
The long stainless steel tube sits beneath the liquid-out post and extends towards the bottom of the keg. Therefore, it allows beverage to travel from near the base of the keg through the liquid post and into your dispensing system.
It is a direct replacement liquid dip tube for our 19L Ball Lock Keg – Stainless Steel.
Long Liquid-Out Dip Tube
Unlike the short gas dip tube, the liquid dip tube extends down towards the bottom of the keg. As a result, the dispensing system can draw beverage from near the base as the keg empties.
The stainless steel construction also makes the tube suitable for regular cleaning and routine keg maintenance.
Includes Dip Tube O-Ring
This liquid dip tube comes with a dip tube O-ring for sealing the flange beneath the keg post.
If you need an additional replacement seal, we also stock the Ball Lock Keg Dip Tube O-Ring individually.
When installing the tube, make sure the O-ring sits correctly beneath the flange. Then tighten the liquid post securely to create the seal.
19L and 9.5L Keg Compatibility
This long liquid dip tube directly suits our 19L Ball Lock Keg – Stainless Steel.
You can also cut the tube down to suit our 9.5L Ball Lock Keg – Stainless Steel. However, it is supplied at the longer length required for the 19L keg, so modification is necessary before using it in the shorter 9.5L keg.
Cornelius-style kegs have also been produced in many different designs over the years. Therefore, this replacement tube may not fit every older or second-hand keg.
Keg Servicing and Maintenance
Inspect the liquid dip tube whenever you remove the liquid post for cleaning or servicing. In particular, check the tube for damage, contamination or build-up and inspect the O-ring before reassembly.
Additionally, a small amount of suitable food-grade keg lubricant on the O-ring can help protect the seal during assembly.
